Knowing how to read the ironing symbols on labels is very important to remove any creases from your laundry.
Reading labels on garments and fabrics is essential to maintain the quality of the fabric during washing, ironing and drying, and will help you avoid ruining your clothes.
Washing Symbols
The icon of a tub advises how to clean an item of clothing: inside it is indicated the most suitable temperature for each garment, or there is a hand drawn in the case of more delicate fabrics such as cashmere, silk and wool that should be washed by hand.
Spin indications
Also pay attention to the lines under the tub: the spin cycle should be either delicate (if there is only one line) or extra-delicate (if there are two lines)! It may also happen that there is an x under the tub, in which case the spin cycle should be avoided.
If the tub is crossed out, the garment cannot be washed in water and must be taken to the laundry.
