How to clean and dry your denim garments
Tips for washing jeans correctly:
Whether skinny, stretch, flared, high-waisted or low-waisted, everyone has a favourite model of jeans and doesn't want to ruin one of the most versatile garments that never goes out of fashion.
To avoid ruining the fabric during washing:
- in addition to following the instructions on the label, turn the trousers or denim garment inside out before putting it in the washing machine
- the ideal temperature is between 30 and 40 degrees, so the colour stays intact for longer and there is less wear and tear on the fabric
- use liquid detergents, preferably those for dark garments, and also try to avoid detergents and powdered products, as they could stick to the fabric or get into pockets
- leave the garment inside out even when drying, laying it out well in the open, this way, it will also be easier to iron
